Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is a day to celebrate giving back.

GT Bozeman_Graphic_LargeGGWC is excited to be working with many local nonprofits to bring #GivingTuesday to the Gallatin Valley on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. This is a day to celebrate the spirit of giving during the holiday season by donating, volunteering, and learning about the work that nonprofits do in the community. Mayor Krauss, mayor of Bozeman, has even joined by officially proclaiming #GivingTuesday as a day for citizens to give back to the Bozeman community in ways that are personally meaningful.

#GivingTuesday is your chance to make a difference in the places you care about. If you love hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, farming, or drinking water in the Gallatin Valley, a donation to the Greater Gallatin Watershed Council is a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season by protecting the streams and rivers in your home.

Any donation, large or small, supports stream restoration, water quality monitoring, and watershed education for students and adults in the Gallatin Valley.
