Interested in volunteering with Gallatin Stream Teams this summer?

The training will be Saturday, June 27 from 9 am to 3 pm at Bozeman City Hall (121 N Rouse Ave). You must attend the training in order to participate in Stream Teams this year, whether you are a new or returning volunteer.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • We will be inside in the morning and spend the afternoon training in Bozeman Creek. Bring waders, water shoes, or sandals with straps. The creek is less than knee deep and not too cold right now. Saturday is supposed to be very warm and sunny, so dress appropriately and bring plenty of water and sun protection.
  • You will select your Stream Team and monitoring dates at the training, so bring your summer calendar. You can view the dates on our website: http://greatergallatin.org/calendar/ (scroll through to July, August, and September)
  • If you have volunteered with Stream Teams in the past, you don’t have to attend the overview and Watersheds 101 presentations that you have already heard, so you may come at 10:00.
  • We will have pizza and salad for lunch. Come a bit early in the morning for coffee and treats!
