Greater Gallatin Watershed Council Hosts Annual Meeting,
“Weathering Drought: Stories from our Neighbors” on January 30th

The Greater Gallatin Watershed Council (GGWC) will hold its 2019 Annual Meeting, “Weathering Drought: Stories from our Neighbors” on Wednesday, January 30th from 6:30-8:30pm at the Lindley Center in Bozeman, Montana.The annual meeting will feature a speaker’s panel beginning at 7:00pm, where we will hear first-hand accounts of individuals who have experienced the impacts of drought in their daily lives. Speakers include: Dale Sexton, Yellowstone fishing guide and owner of Timber Trails in Livingston; Peter Marchi, chief water commissioner for the Musselshell River; Jeff Moore, a local homeowner affected by forest fires in the wildland-urban interface and Josh Pulst, insurance agent with Leavitt Group specializing in farm and ranch insurance. These stories from our neighbors will provide insight as to how the increasing threat of drought affects and compromises our livelihoods and natural resources within the Lower Gallatin Watershed.
